If you are currently employed by a company that is providing the 401(play) benefit to you, and have NOT SIGNED UP through the enrollment link you were provided:
  • You do not need to delete your account
  • You must use the employer-provided enrollment link to select the “opt-out” option - follow the enrollment link, enter your e-mail address, and click the "Opt Out of Benefit" button
  • Your status will be updated in their 401(play) Employer Portal as “opted out”
  • No further action will be required until you decide to enroll, and you must contact your employer to be reinstated into their Portal

If you are currently employed by a company that is providing the 401(play) benefit to you, and have set up your 401(play) Vacation Funding Account (VFA) and debit MasterCard (issued by Juice Financial) and want to stop using the benefit:
  • You are not required to close or delete either your 401(play) mobile app or your 401(play) VFA/MasterCard accounts, and instead,
  • You can stop contributing and making deductions from your paycheck by changing your contributions amount to “$0.00” within the 401(play) mobile app while continuing to use your 401(play) MasterCard.
    • Your employer will continue deducting your contribution amount from your bi-weekly pay until you change the amount to “$0.00”. You must make this change even if you elect for full account closure.
  • If you decide to proceed with closure, simply notify our partner, Juice Financial, at 855-687-2114 that you want to close your account. You may either spend the card account funds down to a zero-balance, or they can issue a check for the account balance to you for a $10.00 fee.
    • If you close your MasterCard, you may continue to use the 401(play) mobile app’s travel booking and trip planning features as long as the benefit is offered or until you leave the company, but you will not be able to contribute to your closed account.

If you are separated from or terminated by a company that was providing the 401(play) benefit to you, and have set up your 401(play) Vacation Funding Account and debit MasterCard (issued by Juice Financial):
  • You will no longer have access to the 401(play) mobile app once your employer changes your employment status in their Employer Portal
  • You will still have FULL access to your 401(play) Vacation Funding Account and debit MasterCard, managed by Juice Financial
    • You may spend any saved funds down to a zero-balance, or
    • Request a check for the balance (minus a $10.00 check issuance fee), or
    • Keep the account permanently by transferring outside funds into your 401(play) VFA account (contact Juice Financial for more details at 855-687-2114)
  • After the balance of funds has been removed, you may close your account any time, or, if you do nothing, your account will automatically be closed after 180 days.
If you have accidentally deleted your account from within the 401(play) mobile app (using the “Delete Account” menu option), you must reach out to your employer to be reinstated into their Portal. You will not be able to use the 401(play) mobile app until you have been successfully reinstated.
